Getting Cosy in the Bedroom

As I write this, the remnants of Hurricane Bertha are slamming at my window. Torrential rain, strong wind and the odd crash of thunder. Summer feels long gone and everything seems rather autumnal today. When the weather cools down there is nothing like great bedding and accessories to cosy up in. So today I am running through my top bedding picks available on the highstreet, along with a run down of some super cosy accessories to turn your bedroom into a homely haven as the weather starts to turn...
This gorgeous bedding is from Loaf and is made from 100% Belgian linen. It comes in 4 neutral colours and is definitely on my want list! Style with warm whites, natural woods and wicker and a cable knit throw.

This braid effect duvet is from West Elm, made from 100% organic cotton. I love the texture the braid effect creates making it feel super sumptuous and very cosy. Add some scandi with a sheepskin rug by the feet of the bed and some painted white furniture.

Checks are a classic look which never go out of style. Laura Ashley's Hendon Check is perfect to add a touch of colour to a neutral space. I love the modern lamp on the bedside table but if it were me I would go with a simple headboard, adding some feminine touches with natural textures used in cushions and throws.

The White Company make gorgeous bedding and this washed linen set is no exception. For me this room is perfect - raw wood, cosy throws topped off with the relaxed feel of the bedding. Perfect reason to lie in on a Sunday.

Here are some accessories to make make sure your bedroom is a haven for you this Autumn...
