Trays are becoming somewhat of an addiction for me at the moment and this one is one short click away from being mine. Perfectly festive as Christmas creeps upon us but also super practical all year round. I want it for my dining table to frame a vase I currently have on it, filled with eucalyptus. Sometimes a tray just makes something look like it truly belongs there.
This would also look delightful on a drinks trolley with a gold cocktail shaker and some martini glasses sat decoratively on its wonderfully mirrored surface. Or on a coffee table with a selection of carefully curated small vases and mini succulents. Hell, at £19.99 I'm buying three to make each of these interior dreams a reality...
Available at H&M.

Bloomon
This morning I want to share an amazing new company with you who have just launched in London. A start-up which will brighten up the gloomy winter and beyond. May I introduce Bloomon - London's first (as far as I can tell) subscription flower service.
With Christmas hard upon our heels, I love the idea of giving a subscription to the service as a gift - what would be more wonderful than a fresh bunch of flowers twice a month for a few indulgent months across Winter. Or, rather than giving a whole subscription, you can actually defer one of your personal bouquets to another address which is so simple, and means you can surprise a friend at the click of a button.
The prices are really reasonable considering the ease of the service, and the quality of the flowers. A small bouquet is £20.95, medium £24.95 and large is £31.95.
I love fresh flowers in the house, they are the finishing touch to any scheme and are one of those little luxuries which I don't mind indulging in. But I do tend to be fairly picky and I usually just go for succulents and cacti because the stuffy arrangements M&S and Interflora never quite hit the spot. With Columbia Road flower market down the road, I could swing by there on Sunday afternoons to pull my own arrangements, but the thing is life gets in the way. That's why the idea of having wonderfully wild, seasonal and fresh flowers straight to your door is simply genius.

The subscription is like all of the others which are popping up at the moment - you pick what size you would like (small, medium or large), how often you want them (every two weeks or once a month) and hey presto. You can cancel whenever you like and to celebrate the UK launch they are giving you a delightful vase for free.
The flowers are cut in the Netherlands, where the company originates, and go straight to their stylist who creates the bouquets before the head over to London. The whole process, from field to front door, is only 24 hours (depending on traffic apparently) so they really are about as fresh as you can get which means they genuinely last longer than those from the shops. The deliveries arrive on Wednesday evenings between 6pm-10pm so you don't have to worry about them being delivered when you are out at work.
Finally, you don't get to pick the bouquet, its a surprise each time which is a great way to enjoy flowers and grasses you wouldn't normally chose. But on a practical level, its because seasonality is so important they change week to week depending on what is blooming at that time.

So what are you waiting for?
