Look of the Week is all about the traveller / world vibe. It's a style I absolutely love as it's about being eclectic, and filling your home with treasures collected over years of adventures.
Of course you don't have to have a world tour under your belt to achieve it in your own home, the look can be easily cheated using treasures from the high street instead. Its difficult to exactly explain why a mish mash of colours, pattern and styles work in this situation, but I think the key is to keep the basics clean; soothing white walls and natural fabrics help do this. Also, the use of one accent colour, in this instance red, helps to keep things feeling unified. The black and white pops make the scheme feel that touch modern too.
